Counsellor

Georgina is a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist working independently with clients and also working for the Centre for Applied Human Rights at York University. She also has a master’s degree in community nutrition.

Georgina Kramer is a qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist working independently with clients and also working for the Centre for Applied Human Rights at York University.

She has a master’s degree in community nutrition and worked in her home country of Papua New Guinea for many years before moving to England. She has worked with Cruse Bereavement Care and understands how beneficial this can be following the death of her husband. She particularly enjoys working with children and has previously worked within schools in York and for Place2Be in Leeds.

She also has experience of working at a GP surgery in York, helping people with depression, anxiety, stress and family and relationship problems. Georgina is a Registered Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and keeps up to date with Continuing Professional Development.
